BONE GRAFTS

For dental implants one of the requirements is the presence of bone in which to place the dental implants, so when there is not enough bone it needs to be created in order to place the dental implant.

Dr. Luciano has performed many different types of grafts, among which we can mention:

Socket preservation:
when a tooth extraction is performed, a bone graft is done in the area to prevent a large bone loss and thus maintain the shape and integrity of the alveolus, maintaining natural appearance.

Maxillary sinus lift:
When placing implants in the posterior maxilla is required and there is no sufficient bone, the doctor performs a procedure in which the membrane of the maxillary sinus is lifted and a bone graft is placed in the floor of the maxillary sinus, in which subsequently dental implants will be placed.

Block Graft:
when there is a very small amount of bone, a block of bone is removed from another part of your body, and placed in the jaw.

BMP-2 Graft: By using bone morphogenetic protein, Dr. Luciano can actually make bone grow in areas with large bone deficiency.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY

In our state-of-the-art office, Dr Luciano works with other doctors highly trained to perform smile makeover procedures. By using a combination of procedures we can transform a smile from the most unattractive to the most beautiful, natural smile possible.

Patients come to our office from far distances to take advantage of the experience and artistic expertise offered by our USA trained dentists.

The first step in a smile makeover is the examination appointment. Here we listen to the patient describe exactly what they desire, so that we can create a plan to meet those specific desires. We use a variety of diagnostic aids to accomplish the ultimate smile makeover. We take photographs, x-rays and models so that we can communicate clearly with the dental laboratory to create the desired smile.

TEETH IN A DAY

Advances in Implantology and the technologies we use today, allow us to give our patients implants with fixed teeth in one day. In most cases, it is no longer necessary to wait months to have fixed teeth that allow you to chew, look good and talk normally.

Dr. Luciano has been trained rigorously, and thanks to his knowledge he has refined a technique, that allows the patient to leave the clinic with fixed teeth, the very same day of the implant placement.

Through documentation of all cases performed with this technique, equal or better results than with conventional procedures have been achieved at a success rate of 99%.

However, not all patients are candidates for this technique, and therefore, each patient is carefully evaluated, before any intervention, by advanced technology using 3D CAT Scanning.

COMPUTER GUIDED IMPLANT SURGERY

The incorporation of this technology to our practice provides us with three-dimensional information on the width and density of your jawbone, the exact location of neighboring teeth roots, and location of the nerves, securing the best outcome even before treatment begins.

In his computer lab Dr. Luciano can virtually prepare your treatment with the greatest detail and you will receive a much safer and comfortable treatment. A customized surgical guide is the link between virtual implant planning, and actual treatment, hence its immense advantages over traditional methods.

With this method gums can often be left intact for faster healing helping to a much more comfortable post-operative stage. It is a painless dental implant treatment, providing safety, predictability, maximum comfort, and the most important, no surprises.

TREATMENT UNDER IV SEDATION

Fear to the dentist is one of the most common fears in the world, and perhaps the main reason why people neglect their oral health. To encourage these people we carefully explain how dental practices have changed greatly in recent years, and that there are technical and human resources to ensure that all patients feel calm, confident, secure, and even relaxed, before any dental treatment.

Intravenous sedation is a clinical procedure that is always done under the assistance of an anesthesiologist. It is painless and allows us to do any intervention with great comfort.

With this system the patient is totally relaxed and comfortable, always maintaining a level of consciousness that allows him to obey the doctor and collaborate. Another advantage of this system is that it allows us to administer drugs such as anti-inflammatories and analgesics through the same I.V, which will make the postoperative stage more bearable.
